1. Is Propertywide.co.uk an estate agent?

Propertywide.co.uk is not an estate agent; it is a property website owned by Countrywide Group, the UK's leading provider of all services relating to residential property in the UK. The Countrywide Group encompasses many well known estate agency brands across the UK.

2. Which locations does Propertywide.co.uk cover?

Countywide Group's network of renowned estate agents and letting agents span the UK and have properties for sale and to let in most areas of Britain. Propertywide.co.uk displays all properties currently listed with every Countrywide agent.

3. When I search for properties, why doesn't the search box recognise the location I typed in?

If our search engine doesn't recognise the location entered, check your spelling and/or check the postcode or location is entered correctly and try again.

4. My property search failed to produce any results, why is this?

It may be that you have typed in the location incorrectly. We advise that you check your spelling and try again. If your search still doesn't produce any results, it may be that we don't have any properties for sale or let in your chosen location. Check the radius setting of your search and try expanding the distance you've searched within. The wider your search, the more properties you're likely to see in the search results listings.

5. How does the 'Find an Agent' search work?

You can search for an estate agent or letting agent using the 'Find an Agent' search tool. Click the 'Find an Agent' tab above the search box and type in your chosen location; then press the 'search' button which looks like a magnifying glass. The results page will provide a list of all agents within an indicated distance from your chosen location , you can then narrow your search and reduce the search radius by using the 'Filter Results' options beneath the search box.

6. My agent search failed to produce any results why is this?

It may be that you have typed in the location incorrectly. We advise that you check your spelling and try again. If your search still doesn't produce any results it may be that we don't have any estate or letting agents in your area.

7. How do I request further details or arrange a viewing on a property advertised on Propertywide.co.uk?

To request more information on a property, contact the agent or arrange a viewing on any property featured on Propertywide.co.uk, please click the 'Contact Agent' button. You will then be asked to complete a short form requesting your name, email address and telephone number. After you've pressed 'Send' on the short contact form, the relevant agent will contact you directly to progress your request.

8. How do I save a property to my 'favourites'?

Propertywide.co.uk allows you to shortlist properties that may be of interest to you by adding them to 'Favourites'. To do this, simply click the 'Favourite' button that appears on the property details or the property search results list. Your favourites will then be stored for the duration of your visit. If you signup with Propertywide and login each time you visit, your favourites will be saved for each repeat visit.

9. I asked for details on a property but haven't heard anything yet. What should I do?

We apologise for any delay in dealing with your enquiry. In this scenario the best way to make sure your query is answered immediately is by calling the relevant agent directly. The telephone number of the agent selling the property is located on the property details page to the left of the property image. (Also, see 'Find an Agent' in section 5 above).

10. How can I find an agent to instruct for the sale or letting of my property?

Countrywide estate and letting agents have an excellent track record in successful sales and lettings. To take advantage of our agents' expertise, click on the 'Find an Agent' tab above the search box near the top of the website. Simply enter the town or location where your property is situated, press the magnifying glass icon and the results page that follows will detail all of the letting and estate agents in your area.

11. My house is being sold through a Countrywide agent but isn't on Propertywide.co.uk, why not?

If you property is being sold through a Countrywide agent, then your property should appear on this website. However, in extreme cases, it may take a maximum of up to 48hrs for your property details to appear on Propertywide. If you have any concerns about your property not appearing on this website, please contact your Countrywide agent and they'll rectify the problem.

12. Why is my house still online when it has been sold?

Unless you request otherwise through your Countrywide agent, any property that is sold subject to contract, or successfully rented out, shouldn't appear on Propertywide.co.uk. If your property is still appearing on this website and you haven't specifically requested for it to be left on, please contact your local Countrywide agent and they'll resolve this issue.

13. My property is being advertised on Propertywide.co.uk but the details are incorrect, what should I do?

We receive your property details and information directly from your Countrywide estate or letting agent. It is best to contact your Countrywide agent directly to inform them of any errors in the description. They will then rectify any issues.

14. How do I signup on Propertywide.co.uk?

There are many benefits to registering with Propertywide.co.uk and signing up is easy. Simply click the 'Signup' button at the top of the page in the grey bar. You will then be asked for a few basic details including your name and email address. Signup will then be completed once you've activated the account via the email sent out to you. Be sure to log on each time that you visit Propertywide.co.uk so that you can access your saved searches and favourite properties using the 'My Account' button.

15. Can I change my password?

Once logged in you are able to change your personal details, including your password, at any time. To do this simply click on the 'My Account' link at the top of the page and update your details in your account page.

16. How do I cancel my account?

You can cancel your account to Propertywide.co.uk at any time. To do this, simply login and visit your account page, from there you will be able to cancel your account.
