The cottage is believed to date from the 18th Century and has elevations of colour washed brickwork, relieved by leaded light casement windows. Internally there are exposed ceiling and walled beams, although the ceiling heights remain good. Over the years, the property has been extended and now provides a comfortable sitting room with wide bay window overlooking the garden, a dining room (with what could be a large Inglenook fireplace which needs some discovery) which adjoins the kitchen. There are currently 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with a third bedroom or study adjoining the dining room. This is an opportunity to acquire an unusual period cottage adjoining fields and still providing some opportunity for further enhancements (subject to planning consents). An inspection is strongly recommended.

The garden lies on all sides of the property. Fronting the lane is a gravelled parking area and garaging for 2 cars. Pathways run down the side of the property opening to a large paved terrace that continues round to the rear garden, which is predominantly laid to lawn, interspersed by flower borders with the bottom boundary adjoining paddocks. To the front of the house is a further area of lawn, with box hedging forming paths fronting the house. The Cottage garden is a delight, and enhances the property, providing a good deal of privacy.
